Ubisoft Announces Summer Reveal Plans

After what feels like months of silence from Ubisoft, they've finally announced their plans for the summer. A Skull and Bones reveal event will take place on July 7th, following on September 10th a Ubisoft Forward "returns in full force, ready to reveal updates and news on multiple games and projects from Ubisoft teams around the world.” So far this year, Ubisoft only has Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope on October 20th. Skull and Bones, which has been floating around in some way, shape, or form since 2017. Getting an actual reveal is nice to hear, but beyond that, Ubi is sitting on a ton of franchises that we know nothing about. This new Forward event could feature a look at the next Assassin's Creed or its live service equivalent that's been rumored. Maybe a return to the world of Watch Dogs? The Prince of Persia remake was delayed to 2023 from 21. Is it finally time to pull back the curtains? Perhaps just maybe I can kid myself for a little and say we're finally going to get those 3 green lights lit up in a black room with the return of Splinter Cell.
